Biography
An all-rounder, Shane Dadswell made headlines when he assaulted the opposition for 490 runs off just 151 balls (57 sixes & 27 fours) in a 50-over game, setting a record for the highest individual score ever in the 50-over format of the game.
Shane’s first List-A appearance came on 26 November 2017 for North West in the CSA Provincial One-Day Challenge 2017-18. The following year, Shane went on to be a part of North West's 2018 Africa T20 Cup squad.
His first T20 cap came soon after, where he scored an unbeaten 98 from 34 balls on debut, which CSA went on to describe as 'the performance of the day'. Shane represented North West in his maiden First-Class game in the 2018–19 CSA 3-Day Provincial Cup.
